[modern.orphan.designs] is the merchandise store for Gossip [&] the Devil, the creative/lifestyle brainchild of award-winning poet and author Julie M. Tate. [m.o.d.] is owned, operated and created by Julie, packaged with lust and anticipating arrival to your heated doorstep. Merchandise will include Julie M. T.’s first book, The Rough Chronicles of Bipolar Romance, t-shirts [for men and women], postcards and necklaces, perfumed oils, and a few one-of-a-kind modern orphan deconstructions, or, jackets/shirts/pants/dildos/etc torn up, painted and bleached to imperfection.
Gossip [&] the Devil started as a simple chronicle of one woman’s journey toward her first book of poetry proper, and has now morphed into an entire brand supporting independent art, providing interviews with today’s most prominent self-made musicians, photographers and designers, and travel logs helpful to the neophyte jetsetter. G[&]D educates you in excess, the best in new poetry and flash fiction and promises to re-ignite a passion for the humanities. [m.o.d.] is the flamboyant display of that mission.
